Salt & Straw opened its doors in Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney District last October. This ice cream scoop shop is known for serving up unique flavors of handmade, small batch ice cream utilizing local, organic, and sustainable ingredients.
Salt & Straw is a family-run company which was started in Portland, Oregon by cousins Kim and Tyler Malek. And Kim and Tyler will soon be going on a Book Tour to celebrate the April 30th release of the Salt & Straw Ice Cream Cookbook!
The tour will include a May 15th stop at the Salt & Straw Downtown Disney District location for a book signing at 6:00 PM. You can see the full tour schedule here.
Salt & Straw shares that the cookbook is “part-recipe collection, part-memoir.” And if you can’t make it to any of the stops on the book tour, you should know that the book is available for pre-order now.
