Travel to a galaxy far far away at Disneyland with their special May the 4th Star Wars Celebration this year!! Lots of great stuff is returning from previous Star Wars celebrations, and there’s even more to share!

Disneyland will be creating limited time magic throughout Tomorrowland which will allow you to create your own Star Wars adventure.
With the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge quickly approaching, Disney wanted to give guests the opportunity to enjoy a bit of Star Wars fun before the land opens on May 31st — and what better day to do so than on May the 4th?

Hyperspace Mountain
May the 4th be with you as you ride on Hyperspace Mountain! Yep, the Star Wars-themed overlay for Space Mountain is returning to Disneyland for a limited time. While riding, you will rocket into the battlefield with swarms of Rebel X-wing Starfighters and Imperial TIE fighters.

March of the First Order
Also returning for May the 4th is the March of the First Order with Captain Phasma and her Stormtroopers. They’ll be marching through Tomorrowland for a limited time.

Special Photo Opportunity
Disney also revealed that there will be a special photo opportunity available at Starcade, though specific details on what the photo op will be have not been released yet.
Limited Time Food and Beverage Options
Did Disney say Star Wars snacks? Disney did! They will be offering a few limited time food and beverage options for the May the 4th Celebration! Galactic Grill and Alien Pizza Planet will both be serving Star Wars-themed snacks, including a Dark Side Chicken Sandwich and an Outer Rim Pasta.

Check out the Season of the Force menu at Galactic Grill for an idea of what Star Wars items have been served before!
You’ll also be able to purchase a themed stein, sipper, and popcorn bucket that will be inspired by Star Wars legends.

Specifics on these snacks have not been shared yet so be on to lookout because we will be sharing the stellar details as soon as they’re announced!
Limited Time Merchandise
Disney also said that guests should stop by Star Trader or Launch Bay to pick up a t-shirt, hat, or limited edition pin. Hopefully, they share more details on the merchandise so we can share that with you as well!

Is this only happening on one day?
Claudia, the treats and mugs and steins, etc. are going to be available all weekend (of until they sell out), so we expect the other May the 4th elements to be in place for the 5th also.
