The Croissant Doughnut has had a few homes in Epcot over the years since making its debut.
What’s better known as the Cronut arrived with much fanfare at the Refreshment Port in 2013.
(2013! My, how time flies when you’re eating flaky layers of croissant pastry in the shape of a donut rolled in oodles of cinnamon and sugar… as the saying goes 😉 .)
The Croissant Doughnut put the Refreshment Port on the map, so to speak, as it had not been home to a signature snack up to that point. However, once the Refreshment Port put the spotlight almost entirely on variations of Poutine (Hooray!) we were happy to learn that the Croissant Doughnut still had a home in Epcot.
You see, when Taste Track — a food kiosk located near the Test Track attraction — became a full-fledged Festival booth for the 2018 Epcot Festival of the Holidays, it delivered a classic Croissant Doughnut along with three variations on the treat.
Taste Track continued to keep the Croissant Doughnut on the menu for both 2019 Epcot Festivals so far (the Epcot Festival of the Arts and the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival).
But the 2019 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival just wrapped on June 3rd, so the Taste Track kiosk is not currently in operation.
Which begs the question: WHERE can you find your Croissant Doughnut in Epcot now?! Well, we can tell ya…
Stopping by Future World’s Electric Umbrella today, we couldn’t help but notice the addition of the Croissant Doughnut on the menu!
It’s $5.59 or a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan.
So, there you have it! We’re happy to say the Croissant Doughnut still has a home in Epcot!

Phew! Thanks for letting us know AJ! It’s a tradition to eat these on every trip. My in-laws are headed there this week, and my family is going next month, so we now know where to head to find them : )
Does anyone know if the cronut is safe to eat if you have a peanut allergy?
Thank goodness! I’ll be there on July 4th and this is definitely on my must eat list!
My family will be there next month. Knowing where they are now located will save a family argument. 🙂
Can you get it with soft serve do you know? I didn’t see any ice cream options on there ? good news it’s not gone forever, it’s a must have snack!!!
Do you know if they are served freshly cooked. The ones at the Taste Track were not fresh and warm like the ones at Refreshment Post used to be.
Wendy, AJ had one recently at Electric Umbrella, and it was not fresh.
Thanks, Sarah! I was so hoping for the warm, flaky goodness that the old cronut was. So disappointing.
Just got one of the electric umbrella versions of the cronut. It’s about half the size of what used to be at Taste Track and there are no flavor options. They also had to wait on cinnamon sugar to arrive before it could be finished. At least it didn’t taste too bad, but not quite the experience it used to be.
Where is the cronut now that the Electric Umbrella is closed? I will be at Epcot in February and missed the Cronut last time we were there so I must find it on this trip? Can you help?
Jessica, I’m checking with our reporters.
Jessica, as of today Electric Umbrella is still open. But when it closes, we’re expecting to see a temporary location open with some EU staples. When that happens, we’ll check on the cronut!
any update where the cronut is going to be?
Sean, we’re looking into it!
Any update if it has appeared anywhere in Epcot
Sean, not yet! We’re looking every time we’re in the park, though.
Hey did you ever find where the cronut is going to be?
Natali, so far we haven’t seen it.
Are the croissant doughnuts stil available anywhere in Epcot for the 2020 festival!
Beverley, no Cronuts!
