The Polynesian Village Resort is home to some of our favorite sweet treats and eats, including the famous Tonga Toast and ‘Ohana bread pudding.
Today we’re here to tell you about an adorable new treat that’s returned to Kona Island’s bakery case!
In addition to spotting the returning Stitch Cake and a Fourth of July Cupcake, we saw the return of the Unicorn Cake that had been at the Poly for a hot minute a few months ago!
This sweet treat consists of confetti cake, colorful frosting, white ears, and a blue cone to represent the unicorn’s horn. We especially love the eyebrows!
While we weren’t totally wowed by the flavor of this cake, it was decent — and definitely Instagram-worthy!
You can try the unicorn cake for $5.99 at Kona Island at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

I sooo hope you see this post. I used to go to Disney every year growing up but I haven’t been since 2009. I have a suspicion that a friend is planning a surprise trip but we won’t have dining reservations. Is it impossible to get into any of the sit down restaurants without reservations? It will be a mid-September trip.
Princess, not impossible, but you’ll have to be prepared to wait or try for same-day ADRs. (If you’re let in on the secret in advance at all, you can start looking for ADRs right way and be persistent!) And check out this post where we identify some restaurants that tend to have better availability than those that are super-popular.
