Who else is over the moon at the idea of dining in space soon?! WE ARE!
We’ve been eagerly awaiting news on Space 220, the newest restaurant coming to Epcot this Winter and while we don’t have any news yet from Disney, we spotted some interesting construction at neighboring Mission: SPACE.
We noticed some mysterious construction going on over at Mission: SPACE recently…
You might notice that black box covering on the opposite side of the structure from the entrance to the attraction. Of course, we had to take a closer look!
This small section of construction barrier might not seem like much. It could just be routine maintenance to the area, but it could…possibly…maybe…be something BIG! Like, maybe…the entrance to Space 220?
Interestingly, a look on Google Maps (though slightly out of date to what it looks like now!) shows just on the other side of that wall is what appears to be (see the red circle below) an opening in the landscaping that would make sense to possibly be the entrance to connect to the front of the ride. We certainly can’t say for sure, but this is an interesting development!
Updates on this anticipated spot have been slow to come in, but if this is the entrance, then hopefully we will get more updates SOON. We can’t wait to be dining in the stars this winter!
What do you think? Are these barriers hiding the Space 220 entrance? Let us know in the comments!
