There are a LOT of changes happening at EPCOT right now, but even more are on the way!

EPCOT
We’ve been closely following the construction of Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana, and don’t forget that World Celebration will soon be home to new festival areas. The nighttime fireworks show Harmonious is ending its run on April 2nd, 2023, and EPCOT Forever will return on April 3rd. But soon there will be an all-NEW fireworks show in this park! Now, we have a first look at the new show.
We learned at the D23 Expo last year that a new fireworks show is coming to EPCOT in late 2023. This new show will celebrate The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary. Disney stated that EPCOT is the center of that celebration at Walt Disney World.

EPCOT
Disney showed a first look at some concept art for the show during a media event. They announced that the show is meant to “reflect the commonality in all of us.”
According to Disney, the show invites “everyone to gather around World Showcase Lagoon for a show that will unite us through commonalities of the heart in a dazzling display of fireworks, lasers, music and light. Featuring an original composition along with select songs from the Disney songbook, this new spectacular will remind us that we’re more alike than different, connecting our hearts together as one.”

From the picture, it looks like the new show will make use of pyrotechnics, laser lights, and water features (like we’ve seen with EPCOT Forever and Harmonious!). The fireworks in the middle are making the shape of a heart, and there’s water and more fireworks shooting out from the center.

We can’t wait to watch the new show when it debuts in late 2023. In the meantime, you can check out the Harmonious fireworks until April 3rd, when the show will temporarily switch to EPCOT Forever as we await the new 100th anniversary show.

I’m just curious. And I am by no means trying to cause any problems. Why is this show changing so much? Is it sponsorship? Or is it lack of enthusiasm on audience?
