Season Greetings, y’all! Welcome to another roundup of What’s New in Disney Springs!
Lace-up your ice skates as we get ready to take you on a trip around Disney Springs where we’ll be talking turkey, along with a bunch of other food news, and a few pieces of must-have merch we’ve spotted in this Disney World winter wonderland!
There’s been a lot happening at Disney Springs this week including some a Santa-themed treat that makes us smile, a returning Pluto Popcorn Bucket from last year, and lots of seasonal eats to gobble on, so without further adieu, let’s start this sleigh ride!
Food Update in Disney Springs
For our first stop, we’re making a withdrawal from the Sprinkles Cupcake ATM!
That’s because two new seasonal flavors have arrived! Check out the Sticky Toffee Cupcake — it’s a brand new Sprinkles cupcake which features a spiced pumpkin cake with house-made caramel, and it’s topped with date infused buttercream, crushed chocolate toffee crumbles, and finally, drizzled with caramel sauce!
And a returning a favorite of ours — the Double-Stuffed Oreo Cupcake! This delish treat is a vanilla buttercream FILLED chocolate cupcake! It’s lined with an Oreo cookie crust and topped with vanilla frosting and an Oreo crumble rim.
Remember those delicious, customizable Quake Shakes at Ghirardelli’s we told you about last month? Wellll, we saw at sign today advertising how you can make your own Pepperminty-version!
At AristoCrepes they’re serving up TWO seasonal treats! The menu includes a visually-stunning red and green Cherry Jubilee…
…and this ever-so tempting Peppermint Bubble Waffle! It’s a classic bubble waffle covered with a mound of mint chocolate chip ice cream, chocolate drizzle, whipped cream, and peppermint bark!
B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co.
B.B. Wolf’s is slanging some mean Turkey Sliders this holiday season — after all, he is BIG and BAD! Priced at $10.99, this dish features two sliders that come loaded with turkey patties, muenster, arugula, cranberry sauce, and a brown gravy on the side.
Meanwhile, the sweet aroma of Daily Poutine’s seasonal Turkey Poutine has drawn us over to its kiosk! This year’s version is sportin’ a new name — the Gobbler Poutine! It’s made with turkey, gravy, cranberry chutney, and cheese curds on fries!
We were greeted by an assortment of tantalizing holiday goodies at Amorette’s Patisserie today! Feast your eyes on the Holiday Yule Log for $8 made with red velvet cake and spiced cream icing!
There was also this gorgeous Ornament Mouse Dome for $9 that looked pretty enough to be on our tree! It features a chocolate chiffon cake, with chocolate mousse, and marshmallow cream!
And the Holiday Petit for $18 is almost too beautiful to eat! It’s made with a chocolate chiffon cake, chocolate biscuit, cherry jam, cherry chantilly, dark chocolate mousse, and chocolate shavings!
Disney Springs Popcorn Carts
At the various popcorn carts located throughout Disney Springs, a familiar fido had returned! That’s right — the beloved Holiday Pluto Popcorn Bucket from last year has returned! He was joined by the new-this-year light-up Peppermint Mickey Bottle Topper which we’d spotted earlier at Disneyland!
We’re not sure how long these two holiday goodies will be hanging around, so better grab them fast if you’re wanting ’em!
D-Luxe is bringing some seriously good food to the holiday table this year. Current offerings to delight your Christmas time appetite are D-Luxe’s Peppermint Cookies ‘N Cream Milk Shake and a Holiday Turkey Burger!
Vivoli il Gelato
The Turkey Sundae has also waddled back into Disney Springs! Don’t fret — he’s not actually made of turkey, but just looks like one! 😉
Here’s where you’ll also be able to get an Ice Castle Shake…
And these other two adorable gelato novelties, the Gingerbread Man Shake and the Melting Snowman!
The Melting Snowman must like warm hugs like our friend Olaf! Although he’s in distress, he’s certainly adorable!
Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company
There’s a cornucopia of adorable new Mini Donuts at Joffrey’s including these tiny turkeys we’d like to hork down!
Other flavors we spotted included espresso bean and blueberry!
Disney Springs Bar Carts
When scoping out the various bar carts throughout Disney Springs, we noticed you can add a little Mickey Jingle Bell Glow Cube to any beverage of your choice for $5!
We love how they make the festive season even merrier — and certainly BRIGHTER! Also, they remind us of our adorable Mickey Jingle Bell Sipper which we’re also SOOO totally in love with!
Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail
The Christmas Tree Trail has returned with snacks, snoap, photo-ops, music, and THEMED TREES!
You can grab a special holiday-themed Reusable Mug featuring phrases like “Happiest of Holidays,” They’re available for $4.25, plus the cost of a beverage.
We also saw the Mickey Snowman Ornament Mug for $15 was in stock! He’s such a jolly, happy soul — probably because he’s sportin’ an adorable set of Mickey ears! We originally spotted the Mickey Snowman Ornament last year, but we’re so happy he’s returned!
We also saw the Disney elves making up some fresh Candy Cane Cotton Candy at the Elforium!
Dang, these puppies look SOOO tasty, and we always enjoy Polite Pig’s meaty offerings, so yeah, we’re pretty happy about these!
Merchandise Update in Disney Springs
World of Disney
While the parks have been flooded with holiday merchandise lately, this adorable Mickey Fleece-Lined Jacket for $69.99 has caught our eye today at World of Disney! It’s got decorative quilted Mickey shapes stitched all over it!
And while we seriously want to wrap ourselves up in its fleece-lined coziness right now, we love the little pair of Mickey ears that accents its hood! It’s practical AND fashionable!
Well, friends, that’s all for this installment of What’s New in Disney Springs — until next time! Keep warm and we’ll report back soon with more food, merchandise, and construction updates as soon as we spot ’em!
