What’s this? What’s this? There’s Christmas everywhere!
Disney World has been going all out with the holiday decorations in the parks. Hollywood Studios has officially launched its holiday extravaganza, and Magic Kingdom has Main Street decked out with wreaths, garlands, and the stunning Christmas tree. And, now Disney Springs is lookin’ merry and bright with their very own Christmas event!
The Christmas Tree Trail has returned with snacks, snoap, photo-ops, music, and THEMED TREES!
Now through January 5th, 2020, you can travel through the forest of ornaments and lights from 11 AM until 11 PM. (Or, if you’re feeling really festive, you can come back 2 times in the same day!)
As opposed to the 27 trees from last year, this year’s trail features 23 trees inspired by Disney characters, attractions, and films. And, on top of that, there are NEW snack stands and merch for 2019! (Yeah, we’ll definitely be grabbing some ‘nog as we stop and look at all the decorations!)
Are you ready for trees, treats, and and tinsel? Then, Giddy-up, giddy-up, giddy-up, let’s goooo see everything the Christmas Tree Trail in Disney Springs has for the holiday season!
Christmas Tree Trail Snacks
Obviously, before doing anything, we had to check out the snacks! (Do you even know us?? ;D) New for this year, the treat stands are based on the holiday movie coming to Disney+, Noelle! The story revolves around Santa’s kids as they struggle to maintain the job of transporting gifts around the world as their dad retires. If that isn’t fun enough, the food and drinks inspired by the film will put you in the ho-ho-holiday spirit!! Noelle Kringle’s Café is the stop for treats this year, featuring…
…the Fall Spice Cotton Candy, which is flavored with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg! It will alternate with another gourmet cotton candy called Winter Frost, which tastes like peppermint. Note that this one can be found in the merchandise shop across the way!
Also on the menu, Mrs. Claus’ Churro Bites come with a Peppermint Chocolate Dipping Sauce. The churros are crunchy and delicious, but the sauce is AH-MAZING!! The peppermint and chocolate flavors are blended beautifully, and it reminds us of peppermint hot chocolate!
Close by, the Eggnoggery features multiple themed drinks for the Christmas Treat Trail, including the Thank Garland Frozen Hot Chocolate, Fireside Cider, and more!
While we were there, we decided to try the Frozen Eggnog with Captain Morgan. If you love eggnog and need a little pick-me-up, this frozen slush is the PERFECT holiday treat!
We also took a sip of the Claus-mo, made with Absolut Citron vodka, cointreau, and cranberry juice. While the drink itself is fruity and refreshing, we especially love the shimmery appearance that makes it look like Christmas in a glass.

Christmas Tree Trail Merch
While we were snacking and sipping away, we spotted the sign leading us towards the event’s merch! Shopping spree, anyone?
All the merchandise is located at the Elforium, which is giving the Emporium in Magic Kingdom a run for its money (and merch).
We started making our list and checking it twice as we took a lil peek at the shirts, tumblers, luggage tags, and more!
The Christmas Tree Trail Shirt is a festive red with the event logo on the front…
…and posters from around the trail on the back!
You can also match with your kiddos with the youth version of the Christmas Tree Trail Shirt! (And, look ADORABLE while doing it!)
Want a reminder of your trip to the Christmas Tree Trail? Pick up the Christmas Tree Trail Luggage Tag…
(And make your holiday travels even more fun!!)
…or the Christmas Tree Trail cards to send back to your friends and family!
Let them know that you’ve stepped right into the world of Disney movies!!
While you’re making your own eggnog or hot chocolate at home this year, you can sip out of the Christmas Tree Trail Tumbler…
…which will keep your drinks either hot or cold this winter!
Plus, you can take it with you on the go, so you don’t miss out on your morning coffee during busy season!
Christmas Tree Trail Entertainment
Speaking of merch… we’re sure there’s all kinds of Disney goodies you want for Christmas this year! And, who’s a better person to tell than Santa himself?!
With everything to see, do, and eat at the Christmas Tree Trail, finding time to spare is difficult! That’s why there’s a virtual queue to meet Santa Claus! All you have to do is check in at the podium, give your name, and come back when it’s your turn!
After getting in a small line (which is quick!!) at Santa’s Workshop…
…you’ll get to meet the jolliest man around! Look how adorable Santa is!!
After you get that perfect snap for your Christmas card, you can let the kiddos run wild with the return of Stitch’s Holiday Gift Hunt! Experiment 626 is wrecking the halls and has misplaced his Christmas shopping list! Your job is to help him out by spotting the hidden Stitch holding up one of his presents and finding clues with your map at the 12 sticker stops.
This year’s sticker stops include Amorette’s Patisserie, Basin, the Mickey and Minnie Tree, Disney Chase Visa Kiosk, Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories, MAC Cosmetics, the Marketplace Co-Op, Once Upon a Toy, Rainforest Cafe, Sperry, Super Hero Headquarters, and Wolfgang Puck Express!
After you’ve filled out your booklet, you can stop by one of the 6 redemption locations to pick up your festive prize! These places include Amorette’s Patisserie, the Mickey and Minnie Tree, Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories, the Marketplace Co-Op, Once Upon a Toy, and the Super Hero Headquarters. But, be warned!! Stitch is a troublemaker, so expect the unexpected! (;
Christmas Tree Trail Decorations
One of the cutest things about this year (other than these handsome fellas)…
…are the themed posters inspired by the Disney movies that the trees are based on! Check out the Red Carpet Airlines from Aladdin, the Mittens for Kittens from Frozen…
…the Grey Stuff from Beauty and the Beast…
…the Bewitching Bayou Beignets from The Princess and the Frog, Whosits & Whatsits Antiques and Collectibles from The Little Mermaid…
…the Dragon Gym from Mulan, Ice Sales from Frozen…
…Madame Leota’s Music Lessons from the Haunted Mansion…
…Carriage Repair from Cinderella…
… Bonnets for Bears from the Country Bears…
… Attraction posters from Hollywood Studios and Epcot…
…Retta’s Dressmakers from Cinderella…
…the Second Star to the Right Travel Agency from Peter Pan…
…and the Pride Rock Music Festival from The Lion King!
We want ALL of these to put around our house!!
The 2019 Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail
And, now to the main event… (drum roll please)… the Christmas Tree Trail for 2019! (YAY!!!) While you’re looking at the stunning decorations on each tree, keep an eye out for a special ornament that fits with the theme!
The Disney World Theme Parks Tree has Cinderella Castle as its topper and the Monorail looping around its entirety.
You can spot Spaceship Earth…
…the Tree of Life…
…the Tower of Terror, and MORE nestled among the ornaments! (What did you happen to find??)
We also saw the special Skyliner Gondola Ornament hanging around on the trees branches!
The Mickey and Minnie Tree is back again as a Christmas Tree Trail staple! Complete with polka dots and a red, white, and yellow color scheme…
…the tree also has a Minnie Bow Ornament resting in the special case!
A tale as old of time occurs at the Beauty and the Beast Tree, which has an Enchanted Rose topper…
…and ornaments featuring one of the best moments of the film, where Belle and the Beast dance in the ballroom! How romantic!
Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather have come together to make it pink and make it blue on the colorful Sleeping Beauty Tree…
…with lots of flowers and an Aurora Ornament!
One of our wishes has been granted by Genie! We get to take a look at the ornate Aladdin Tree…
…as Aladdin rubs that lamp in his ornament! (You ain’t never had a friend like him!)
The snow glows white on the Christmas tree tonight with the Frozen Tree flurrying into the trail. Elsa really used her ice powers on this one, you guys!
The evening star is shining bright over The Princess and the Frog Tree, complete with trumpets for Mardi Gras…
…and Tiana wistfully perched on a balcony in the featured ornament!
Travel to the “Fathoms Below” with The Little Mermaid Tree, complete with plenty of bubbles, a triton topper, and whosits and whatsists galore!
Let’s get down to business to check out the Mulan Tree! Complete with two sides, like the double life Mulan lives in the film, one side is more traditional and the other has a cherry blossom. The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all, you know!
Did you feel that chill?? It’s not the weather just yet, folks! It’s the Haunted Mansion Tree with Constance Hatchaway front and center as well as “dead” leaves and scattered tombstones!
Feel the joy of true love’s kiss by looking at the Snow White Tree…
…complete with forest animals and a Snow White Ornament!
He’s got no strings to hold him down! That’s why the Pinocchio Tree makes us want to do a little jig with our matching Pinocchio hat…
…to the sound of the violin playing its best Christmas tunes!
The Toy Story Tree is made up of home-made ornaments, which honestly reminds us of our childhood memories from the holidays! (Which is the point, is it not??)
Even the Disney Villains want to get in on some Christmas cheer with the Disney Villains Tree, featuring baddies like Ursula, the Evil Queen, Maleficent, and more!
While we might not be able to hop in Santa’s actual sleigh, you can still embark on a high-flying adventure with the Dumbo Tree! (Just look at that adorable trunk sticking out from the top!!)
The ornament showcases our favorite little elephant as he struts his flying skills!
It’s a good thing the Christmas Tree Trail closes before midnight, ’cause the Cinderella Tree has already started to form pumpkins!!
Along with the pumpkins, clocks and keys pepper the tree, as well as the Cinderella Ornament!
Move over, Merida! Robin Hood has a thing or two to teach ya about archery with the Robin Hood Tree…
…featuring targets and even a poster of the hero himself!
(Insert lightsaber noises here!) The Star Wars Tree is back with that INCREDIBLE lightsaber topper, as well as Porgs, Jawas, a Chewie belt garland…
…and Light and Dark Side Ornaments with BB-8, Darth Vader, and others!
Think of the happiest things — yup, that’s right! It’s the Peter Pan Tree complete with Wendy‘s bow, Michael‘s bear…
…and Tink hanging around in an ornament (which kinda looks like the lantern from the film)!
Flowers are gleaming and glowing at the Tangled Tree, decorated in all the flowers from Rapunzel‘s hair!
You can spot a few lanterns, some of Rapunzel‘s activities from “When Will My Life Begin,” and even the Lost Princess Ornament!
It’s the circle of liiiiiife!! And, The Lion King Tree is moving us all with that show-stopping topper from the first moment of the film!
Completely decked out in African objects and busts of the characters, this tree has us wanting to say “Hakuna Matata” for the holidays!
The Mary Poppins Tree is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious with all the reference from the film it packs into the tree! You can spot the suffragette sash, chimney sweeps, and even the Banks’ kite!
We’re ending our time on the Christmas Tree Trail with the mouse that started it all! Sorcerer Mickey is a fan-favorite moment from the beloved film Fantasia. And, the Fantasia Tree makes a few nods from the best parts of the film…
…including the Sorcerer Mickey scene with his hat as the topper and a few magical brooms around the tree!
Well, that’s all for this year’s Christmas Tree Trail! We hope you enjoyed your journey through Disney movies AND the Christmas cheer!
Be sure to check out the Christmas Tree Trail in Disney Springs for the holidays! (And, tag us in your photos!!)

Thanks for the tour of the trees. I can’t be there this year to see them in person, but your tour was great. They r all beautiful .
Susan Chapman says
Great tour of the trees and posters. Really enjoyed checking these out. I think that the poster for the bonnets is actually for Country Bear Jamboree not Splash Mountain. Love Disney Food Blog ! Really enjoy seeing the sights especially during the Christmas season. Thanks DFB!
