The holidays have arrived at the Boardwalk Resort in Disney World!

Today we’re heading over there to get our holly jolly on, a task that’s even easier than it sounds with the resort’s newest festive drink offering!

The Gingerbread Martini has arrived at the Boardwalk Resort, and we’re just going to come out and say it – it brought plenty of holiday cheer! We picked up this guy at the snack stand adjacent to the Boardwalk’s mini-Boardwalk gingerbread display!

The Gingerbread Martini is made with Kahula, Baileys, vodka, and gingerbread Monin syrup, with a vanilla ice cream base. It’s topped with whipped cream and one stinkin’ cute gingerbread man!

We asked a Cast Member about the gingerbread topper, and they told us that while it’s made by the Boardwalk Bakers they weren’t sure it was the same recipe as the other gingerbread treats. That being said, it’s really good! It was softer than expected, and definitely a little more spicy than sweet. It’s a very yummy topper to a truly delicious drink!

This drink is, in a word, divine. It’s not aggressively gingerbread-y, but instead the Baileys and Kahlua are the flavors that really come through. It’s super smooth and creamy, so it’s a perfect dessert drink.
