Epcot is transforming right before our very eyes!
You got it, folks. Epcot is undergoing a MAJOR transformation over the next few years and the evidence is clear in the park. With construction, new shows coming soon, and more construction, it’s hard to keep up with all the changes. Well, one piece of the transformation is complete today and that’s the new Camera Center and Pin Traders merch shop!
Camera Center and Pin Traders used to be two separate locations and a while back, both of the retail spots closed. Well, that was all in anticipation of a little makeover happening at Camera Center. Now, Pin Traders occupies the same space and the store is OPEN for business in the shadow of Spaceship Earth.
Since it’s pretty easy to snap a photo on your cell phone, the needs and wants of a Camera Center have evolved.
Now Camera Center pretty much consists of a Disney Photopass desk with two kiosks and info on the program. It’s the Camera Center of today!
On the other side of the store, Pin Traders is sittin’ pretty with those pin-lined walls that we love so much.
We even spotted some upcoming limited edition pins! This set commemorated the 20th Anniversary of Disney Pin Trading with a SUPER COOL set of pins. The green outer layer opens up to reveal some of our fave Disney characters. How can you not want to collect them all?
We also spotted these Epcot logo pins. We love the rainbow color scheme!
AND Camera Center is definitely your stop for 2020 merch. They have a whole wall of it!
Whether you’re shopping the Camera Center half or the Pin Traders half, you can pay at this sleek new check-out space.
So, that’s our new Camera Center and Pin Traders! The updated space certainly feels a little more modern than it did — just a sign that the Epcot transformation is underway!
