Your merry little Christmas just got a whole LOT merrier if you’re visiting Disney World for the holidays!
Sure it’s crowded and stuff, but that’s okay! It’s the HOLIDAYS, after all! And now we’ve got some BIG news to share with you about a few special little things called Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade AND Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks— ever heard of em? (We’re SURE you have!)
Usually, you can only watch Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade by purchasing a separate ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, a special event that occurs on select evenings at the Magic Kingdom.
But we’re so incredibly THRILLED to tell ya that you can watch the Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade at 12PM and 3PM every day this week — no special ticket required! You’ll first be able to see this classic Disney World parade starting today, December 23rd. But don’t worry if you can’t make it over there today — the parade will be running through December 31st!
You’ll see a bunch of your favorite Disney characters along with toy soldiers, gingerbread men, dancing reindeer, and did we mention the BIG GUY himself will be there? That’s right — Santa Claus will make an appearance! We hear he’s very busy this time of year, but he wouldn’t miss this festive holiday parade — and neither should you!
Being able to see this nighttime parade in the daylight will be so cool! But here’s a reason to stay after dark — Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks! Yup — in addition to watching the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, you’ll have through December 29th to see the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party–exclusive fireworks show without a special ticket! Plus, it’s the very first year this brand-new fireworks spectacular has been displayed, so you WON’T want to miss it!
And while the Christmas parade and fireworks are definitely worth scoping out, don’t forget The Muppets have also returned to Liberty Square this week to teach us all about great moments in history… but only the American parts! (Learn more hear in case you didn’t hear the news yet!)
