Happy Monday, y’all!
Today’s the start of a HUGE week for the Disney parks on BOTH coasts! While Disneyland’s Rise of the Resistance will FINALLY open this Friday and Disney California Adventure’s Lunar New Year celebration will be kicking off as well, over at Disney World’s Epcot, the Festival of the Arts will be starting! Not only that, but several new attractions will debut including Canada Far and Wide, the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along and Awesome Planet!
And while not much has been revealed about the new film that will be showing in Epcot’s Land pavilion other than it will be an, “on-screen exploration of the realm we call home,” and “showcases the spectacular beauty, diversity and dynamic story of our earth with all the grandeur guests have come to expect,” today we learned who it’ll be narrated by!
If you’re a fan ABC’s hit sitcom Modern Family, you may recognize Awesome Planet’s host — it’s the Emmy-award winning Ty Burrell, who portrays cool dad Phil Dunphy!
And did you know Canada Far and Wide will be hosted by Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy from Schitt’s Creek when it also debuts this Friday? And did you know that Angela Lansbury will be reprising her role as Mrs. Potts for the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along? It’s certainly going to be an exciting “day at the movies” this Friday in Epcot!
