While last year Disney marked the 25th anniversary of The Lion King with special treats, there wasn’t ANYTHING as cute as what we SAW TODAY!
Brace yourself for the adorableness that is…the new Simba Popcorn Bucket we just spotted at Disney World! While this little guy was spotted in Hong Kong Disneyland, we’re so happy he has finally made the journey to Disney World.
Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba!
We couldn’t resist singing the first few lines of “Circle of Life” as soon as we wrapped our hands around this sweet little guy! Our small children and pets are going to be very relieved now that we can reenact our favorite Rafiki scene on Pride Rock with the Simba Popcorn Bucket — instead of them!
And just look at his little feet! Luckily, he’ll grow into them someday!
Unfortunately, he doesn’t hold a lot of popcorn — but that’s okay! He’s just so CUTE!
We found the Simba Popcorn Bucket at The Feeding Ground and the Mahindi popcorn carts in Animal Kingdom today for $16.99 — which is a pretty great price by souvenir popcorn bucket standards! We think these are going to go FAST like the Sven Sippers and Mickey Light Up Christmas Tree Popcorn Buckets, so hurry if you want to make the new Simba Popcorn Bucket the pride and joy of your Disney World souvenir collection!

Looks like a great souvenir… Looks like a beyond horrible popcorn bucket. 🙂
Could someone at least of held the bucket properly in a picture, as Rafiki held Simba did in the movie? Would of been a much cuter picture. I could care less about your fingernails.
Can you get the more delicate (TIE fighter) buckets sent to your room or do you just have to bring them on the rides with you all day?
Tim, you could ask. I think they usually only do Package Pick Up or Delivery from merch locations, not the carts. Maybe you could ask at Guest Relations in the park to see what they say.
Is it possible to get the lion king popcorn bucket without going to animal kingdom? It’s the only park we didn’t plan on visiting 😞
