We’ve been having a sweet time eating our way around Walt Disney World trying out all the new seasonal goodies.
Cherry Almond Cupcake at Disney’s Grand Floridian
With Valentine’s Day upon us, we’ve seen heart-shaped whoopie pies and even cherry almond cupcakes!
Over at Roaring Fork in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, we found a brand new Seasonal Cupcake nestled in the display case just next to the delicious Campfire Cupcake.

Adorned with red and white frosting, multi-colored sprinkles, and heart-shaped Strawberry slices, this vanilla cupcake has a sweet surprise on the inside!

The spongey cake opens up to reveal a thick strawberry jam. We loved the texture and flavors! It wasn’t too sweet or too tart.

Check Out This Valentine’s Cupcake from Disney’s Grand Floridian!
While the icing was bright in color, it’s light in flavor. The strawberries are dried, meaning they’re thin and don’t carry much flavor. While this cupcake is bright and beautiful on the outside, it’s nothing to write home about. The flavors are good, but didn’t wow us!

You can find this cupcake at Roaring Fork at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge for $5.99 or a snack credit if you’re on the Disney Dining Plan. If a cupcake is a must this Valentine’s season, we recommend the Cherry Almond Cupcake from Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
