Theme parks all across Florida have been closed as a health and safety precaution (even though the Re-Open Florida Task Force has started to set guidelines for re-opening).
Although SeaWorld Orlando has been shut down indefinitely, they are looking ahead to see how they can make guests’ experiences better when they open again.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, SeaWorld Orlando Annual Passholders will automatically have their passes upgraded by one tier for FREE for the rest of this year.
This means that “a gold passholder who had no blockout dates at Aquatica Orlando and SeaWorld Orlando now gets access to all the company’s 11 U.S. theme parks, including Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, under the platinum pass.” On top of this, SeaWorld has already stated they will extend annual passes by the amount of days the parks are closed and plans to add bring-a-friend dates once the theme parks re-open.
If you’re an Annual Passholder who is unable to make monthly payments currently, SeaWorld is offering the ability to defer payments during this time. However, you will not be available for the tier upgrade. We will keep you updated with more info!

As Seaworld Gold passholders, becoming Platinum sounds great for the rest of the year.
