Hey guys! Fun fact: the last 24 hours have been absolutely INSANE! By now, we know YOU KNOW exactly what we’re talkin’ about!
Not only is Disney’s new reservation system is launching in mere days, but Disney has also shared that there will be no Park Hopper option for the foreseeable future and no more free MagicBands for resort guests. Mickey’s-Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has been canceled for 2020 and Food and Wine Festival is starting in July. Since there have been so many HUGE news stories, we’re scurrying around to get a few more refined details for you!
Just now, thanks to theme park reporter Carlye Wisel, we’ve got a new piece of information that our friends who will be staying at Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort will be interested in knowing! Disney has confirmed Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort guests will have the same access to the new reservation system as guests staying at Disney-owned hotels.
We were able to confirm a few weeks ago guests staying at these Marriott-owned resorts were being considered as Disney World guests, meaning folks with valid park admission and a hotel reservation at Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort would have first-crack at the new reservation system, just like Disney-owned hotel guests. As of today, this statement holds TRUE!
If you have a reservation for Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort and park tickets, you will have access to the new reservation system starting on June 22nd and you’ll be able to schedule your theme park reservation through September 26th, 2021.
We’ll do everything we can to keep you in-the-know with all the latest Disney World news. We know a LOT of big changes have been dropped really quickly, so if you have ANY questions, please let us know in the comments.
