As Disney resorts reopen around the world, there are a few that we still have to wait on.
Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawai’i is one of the resorts that’s still in a full closure. New reservations were previously being accepted for midsummer, but now reservations have been pushed back.
Initially, Aulani was accepting new reservations and modifications for dates after July 1st, but now new bookings have been pushed another month to August 1st. This may be due to the fact that Hawai’i is still requiring a mandatory 2-week quarantine for out-of-state arrivals through July 31st, per Hawai’i Tourism Authority.
This change also affects the current cancellation policy. Aulani will now waive all Disney-imposed change and cancellation fees up to the date of check-in for arrivals through July 31st. Stay tuned to DFB for all of the latest updates on Aulani and more!

As of August 1st, it looks like you can Waive the 2week quarantine if you get a negative Covid test 72 hours before your arrival and flight. The details are still sketchy but hopefully this will allow for safe travels to the islands. It might be a moot point if hotels still stay closed.
