Quite some time ago, it was announced that a new Disney themed Cirque du Soleil show would be coming exclusively to Disney Springs.
Over the past few months, we’ve gotten more details about the new show, “Drawn to Life,” and even got a behind the scenes peek at what was to come. It looks like guests wanting to see this show, however, may have to wait just a little bit longer.
The show was initially set to open in early 2020. All performances of the show were temporarily suspended, however, due to the global pandemic.
In early July, we saw that tickets were being sold for performances starting on November 5th. Recently, however, we checked the Cirque du Soleil website and noticed that tickets are now only being sold for performances beginning on November 17th. So, it looks like Cirque du Soleil has pushed their opening date back again.
The show appears to be scheduled to take place at 5:30PM Tuesdays through Saturdays, with no shows scheduled for Sundays or Mondays. Tickets start at $65 each for the days we looked at in November. But if you really want that front-row seat you’ll be paying closer to $150.
Drawn to Life follows the story of Julie, a girl whose father was a former Disney animator. Julie finds an unfinished piece of animation from her father, and goes on a magical journey to complete it. There’s lots of fascinating costumes and beautiful routines that are sure to delight and astound guests. Just take a look at that gloved hand on stage!
We’re excited to see this show once it opens to the public. We’ll keep you informed of any further updates we find!

I had a group scheduled to attend the show on December 10. Yesterday I was notified from Group Sales that the show will not open until 2021. The message, in part stated “…I regret to inform you that the Drawn to Life performance you have purchased tickets for has just been cancelled. As we continue to evaluate the timing for the opening of Drawn to Life based on guidance from government and health organizations, the decision was made today to take shows through January 2021 off sale. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you or your group…”
