If so, you’re probably aware of all the benefits you get for being a Passholder. In addition to admission into the parks, you also get discounts on shopping and dining, access to exclusive lounges, and the occasional free gift. You also get special merchandise, and now a NEW Annual Passholder souvenir is turning up, but Disney sort of missed a HUGE opportunity with the announcement about its release. Let’s get into it.
Disney World is releasing an exclusive tumbler for purchase for Disney World Annual Passholders. The tumbler features artwork designed by Joey Chou and includes some of the characters you’ve previously seen on Passholder Magnets like Figment, Mickey Mouse, and more. You’ll also recognize some iconic Disney World landmarks. Honestly it IS a cute tumbler.

You’ll be able to purchase this tumbler from the following locations in Disney World while supplies last:
- Restaurantosaurus and Pizzafari in Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Dockside Diner in Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Connections Eatery and Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue in EPCOT

However, it’s the language Disney uses to describe the tumbler that just hurts our feelings. The description reads: “This nonrefillable, Passholder-exclusive tumbler…” Yep, Disney pointed out that this tumbler is nonrefillable. Which just dashes any and all hopes that Passholders could someday possibly get a refillable tumbler option at the parks (seriously, we’ve dreamed about it).

Oh, well, we guess. Anyway, the tumbler is one of the offerings for V.I.Passholder Days, which runs from May 14th through July 31st. During that time, Annual Passholders will get a new magnet, bigger discounts on shopping and dining, a special Passholder lounge in EPCOT, and more.

A refillable Passholder tumbler would be nice, but it would be another item to cart around the parks. I would only buy one IF it was cute. This tumbler is not at all cute, in my opinion. I’m hoping when I see it in person at one of those 3 parks that I will think it’s cute. Otherwise, I won’t be buying one. I bought a refillable popcorn bucket Christmas 2023 that has those new characters – BUT I’m NOT talking about actual new characters. I’m referring to the newly drawn Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy that you see in the Runaway Railway attraction in Epcot. Those characters are not the real ones at all. They are fake, and I don’t like them at all. I won’t buy any merchandise that has those characters on it. Yes, I have that Christmas popcorn bucket, but I have never used it again and not sure if I ever will. I’m quite sure it’s just me. I just hate the way these new imagineers are doing their best to destroy Mickey and his pals. So sad, and very confusing to many children around the world.
