Park Life MagicBands at Disney Pin Traders at Disney Springs

Sports fans — you’re not being left out of the action either! We’ve been watching for updates from the “NBA Bubble” since basketball games began at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. Even though the NBA playoffs are nearing their end, Disney Resort hotel guests and some Annual Passholders can now pre-order some basketball themed MagicBands for their stay.

Although this practice will be going away next year, guests staying at Disney World Resort hotels and Annual Passholders who renew their annual passes or who purchase a new annual pass (although new annual passes are currently not being sold) currently receive a complimentary solid colored MagicBand.

Solid-Colored MagicBands

Disney Resort hotel guests or Annual Passholders who are looking for something with a bit more of a design, however, can pre-order a MagicBand at a discounted price when selecting the MagicBand they’d like for their resort stay or renewal/new pass. Now, some new-to-us basketball themed MagicBands have been added to this pre-order option! Thanks to our reader Joe (@schreiberjoe) who shared this info with us via Instagram.

First, we’ve got the NBA Legends Play Here MagicBand. It’s got a 2020 logo on it with basketballs in the “0’s” and is a more sleek and subtle black design.

This is available for pre-order for only $20.

Next, there’s the NBA Make History MagicBand. This features a Mickey shape made out of a basketball design and a fun blue background.

Finally, we’ve got the Mickey Basketball MagicBand. Mickey looks like he’s really got his head in the game and is ready to make the game-winning shot!
