Disney just rolled out a few new features that make your park experience even more interactive—and a whole lot more magical. If you thought this little piece of tech couldn’t get any cooler, wait until you see how it now connects with some of Disney World’s newest shows and nighttime entertainment. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest MagicBand+ upgrades you can experience right now in 2025.

Tapping our MagicBand+!
A MagicBand+ isn’t essential for your vacation, but it does make multiple things much easier. You can buy yourself a snack, get yourself into your hotel room for a nap, and interact with things around the park with just one tap! For the 70th Anniversary, there are loads of interactive points you can test out for a limited time, and one of them is FINALLY working!
It is hard to believe, but MagicBands have been a staple of a Disney World vacation for over a decade!🤯

These handy helpers are available to help make your vacation even easier! Sadly, Disney World no longer sends you free MagicBands ahead of your Disney World vacation, and now the latest version of MagicBands, MagicBand+, can run upwards of $60 depending on which style you choose. Here are four things you should know before splurging on one!

These little wearable pieces of tech can put all of Disney World at your fingertips. A MagicBand (or MagicBand+) can act as your park ticket, room key, credit card, Lightning Lane pass, and more. They’ve gone through a few updates here and there, and while the initial hype has died down, they’re still incredibly popular among fans — but not all of them.
