Another dining option is returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios soon!
ABC Commissary
Last month, we got the news that ABC Commissary will be reopening on October 8th and we’re pretty darn excited to have another counter-service option in a reopened Hollywood Studios! Now, a few days ahead of reopening, we’ve caught some MAJOR menu changes for the spot.
First off, ABC Commissary will be peddling some Halloween favorites that we’ve tried elsewhere — the Frozen Apple Cider (and an alcoholic version!) and the Box of Bones Chocolate Eclair.

Unfortunately, there won’t be any NEW Halloween treats joining the line-up.

The entrees section of the menu got a pretty major overhaul as well. There are fewer entrees available and the majority of them are new! We’ll be able to try the Curry Rice Bowl with Shrimp, the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Sandwich, the Shrimp Tacos, and the Pork Carnitas Tacos for the first time.

The California Burger is a returning plant-based option, but you can also snag the new Curry Rice Bowl with Tofu.

The sides have gotten a pretty big overall too! Though Steak Fries are returning; Black Beans, Mexican Rice, Arugula-Farro Salad, Mini Babybel Snack Cheese, and Apple Slices are all new.

The options for the Kids’ Disney Check Meals have remained the same, but the regular Kids’ Meals are entirely new! Now, littles have the option of a Pork Taco or a Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

Finally, the beverages remain primarily the same, save for the addition of a Strawberry Lemonade Slushy. That sounds like it might be a good way to cool off in the Florida heat!

Great… Another WDW restaurant I will give a pass…. Curry? Tofu? Plant-based? Seriously…..
Anyone know where the ribs went?
They had the best green beans on site. So now we get Mexican food and curry instead. Yeah, hard pass.
This was one of my favorite quick service restaurants but now it is one of my last resorts
It’s too bad they couldn’t just offer standard food items, like a regular club sandwich instead of a Chicken Club sandwich. Sometimes even a burger and fries tastes better than something more “creative”. This one gives you three chicken offerings and two shrimp.
Wah, what a difference planning a WDW trip pre-COVID and during! We had to cancel our April 2020 trip but one of the things on my list to try then were the ribs & chicken combo at ABC! Imagine my dismay when I checked their menu just now! I had to do a Google search to see if anyone mentioned it and sure enough you popped up Tom!
