Halloween snacks have rolled in Walt Disney World today!
So far, we hacked into Constance’s For Better or For Worse Wedding Cake, took a ride with the Headless Horseman Float, and had a monstrous Mickey Monster Mash Burger. Think we’re full yet? Guess again! While seeking out some sinister snacks at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we decided to get the Frozen Apple Cider to wash it all down. Here’s what we thought of this spooky concoction!
This devious (and delish!) drink can be ordered with or without alcohol and is found at Rosie’s All-American Café, Backlot Express, and PizzeRizzo. The non-alcoholic cider is $8.99 and the alcoholic cider with Crown Royal Apple is $18. We needed an extra kick this morning so we opted for the spiked version.
The rim is lined with cinnamon sugar and the bottom is filled with green apple popping pearls (bobas). As for the drink itself? It’s all in the name! It’s literally a Frozen Apple Cider slushy. Although, it’s a super DELICIOUS apple cider slushy. It was incredibly refreshing and the perfect choice for a hot day like today.
That said, we couldn’t really taste the Crown Royal Apple, so it tasted more like apple juice, rather than a cocktail. If you’re looking for a strong cocktail then you might wanna look elsewhere. Like, anywhere outside of Disney World property. (Kidding!) The upside is that both versions of the drink come with a poison apple glow cube! Hooray for free souvenirs!
Overall, we really enjoyed this drink. It had a refreshing taste and was nice and cold. A perfect compliment to the balmy Halloween days we’re used to here in Florida.
