As we’ve been taking in all the sights, sounds, and TASTES of the season in Magic Kingdom, we spotted a little somethin’ at one of the Refreshment Carts right by Cinderella Castle: a sign for Sugar and Spice Churros!
The sign lets us know that these seasonal snacks are Christmas Cookie Churros. They’re drizzled with icing, doused with sprinkles, and served up with Eggnog!

Well, like a normal churro! There wasn’t any unique “cookie” flavor that we picked up on. But when you consider the cinnamon and sugar that typically coats the dough, it’s a fitting taste complement to the holiday-spiced eggnog. And the combo — if not altogether exciting — works out just fine!

Essentially, the Sugar and Spice Churros ($8.00 with Eggnog) are simply a festive way to enjoy a classic Disney snack. And the fact that you can enjoy them in view of Cinderella Castle in the Hub isn’t bad, either!

Had these on Nov 6. We were on the hunt for a pretzel, which was at the same cart, and added the churros at the last second. I’m not usually a churro girls but these were SO GOOD !. So warm and crispy, sweet & sugary & buttery. The drizzle was awesome. BUT we missed the description of WITH eggnog. We walked away without getting our cup of eggnog 🙁 Guess we’ll have to go back.
