Well, things have started to clear up a little — but we’ve had a pretty rainy day so far in Disney World! Hey, we were sure to have a wet one today!

After all, Tropical Storm Eta is passing over Florida and you can pretty much expect to have a wet one in Central Florida at any given moment. Missing out on the damp Disney World times? We’re bringing you some rainy day pics and vids!

We knew we were gonna end up a little on the moist side when we arrived at Magic Kingdom this morning. The Train Station was already dripping from the morning showers!

Plus, the rain can’t beat down Disney fun! The Main Street Philharmonic marched their way down Main Street to bring us some expert tunes, despite the puddles.

You might feel like rain is a surefire way to put a DAMPer on your Disney day, but the rain actually means you’ll see some EXCLUSIVE entertainment. That’s right! You might get the chance to catch the Rainy Day Holiday Cavalcade!

Oh, and did you hear that the music got a liiiiittle out of wack? We heard the Crystal Palace March, a song reserved for character meals at the Crystal Palace, as we strolled through Adventureland. Whaaaat?

But we weren’t ONLY in Magic Kingdom this morning. It’s a rainy (and Christmasy!) day over in Animal Kingdom too!

Keep in mind, when it really starts to pour like this social distancing can be difficult in covered and indoor areas. Be vigilant and head to an alternate location if things start to get crowded.

Still, we noticed guests having a darn good time as they explored the park and found some thrills.

No worries, though, as we headed into the afternoon, the clouds started to clear up a little and we got a BEAUTIFUL post-rain view of the Tree of Life.

Hurricane season might officially be over, but we’re still seeing storms! Plus, rain is a year-round event in Disney World so you’ll want to be prepared with rain gear, alternate plans, and an optimistic mindset!
