If you’ve been following along, you may know that Spice Road Table in EPCOT’s Morocco pavilion is not serving guests at the moment (even though it originally reopened along with the rest of the park in July).

Perhaps you even caught our very recent photo tour noting everything that is currently closed — and, of course, what’s open — in the beautiful pavilion at this time. But now we want to bring you some new information about an additional change that’s coming even sooner than expected!

According to the Walt Disney World website, Spice Road Table will welcome guests again starting this Sunday, December 13th, with hours listed from 12PM – 9PM!

Even more, we noticed a pretty major change to the currently posted menu, which is designated as a “Lounge” menu. We’re used to enjoying a select of Mediterranean Small Plates at Spice Road Table. But now, the selection of Small Plates has greatly expanded!

You’ll find items like the Spice Road Table Sampler, Tiropitakia, Dolas, and MUCH more joining options like the popular Hummus Fries and Spicy Shrimp. You’ll even find a Dessert Platter for your sweet tooth. The screenshot above shows the complete listed food menu, with options for full entrees and desserts removed.

You may recall that Spice Road Table was entirely focused on small plates in its opening years, only adding full entrees and the option to make reservations later. Now, it appears — for the time being, at least — that small plates will get the spotlight again.

Of course, Mediterranean Beers, Wine and Sangria, and Signature Beverages like the Medina Mixer and Sahara Spritz will all be available, as well.

As we discussed previously, Advance Dining Reservations are not available, though the site notifies that “Walk-ins are welcome.” And if you’re wondering why we’re especially excited about this news, you should check out our most recent review!
