When Disney World reopened earlier this year, after the park closures, several restaurants and hotels reopened with it, but many remained closed.
Over time, we’ve seen some spots reopen, but several are still closed. Today, however, Disney has announced when one fan-favorite resort — Disney’s Wilderness Lodge — will be reopening!
Currently, the Disney Vacation Club’s Boulder Ridge Villas and Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge are open, but the non-Disney Vacation Club rooms at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge are not available. Soon, however, that will all change. Disney has just announced that Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will be reopening on June 6th, 2021!
That means the resort’s traditional rooms (and not just its DVC rooms and villas) will become available for booking. Hooray!
Disney’s Polynesian Resort is also set to reopen in the summer of 2021, although Disney has not yet released a more exact date yet. Meanwhile, over at Magic Kingdom, The Crystal Palace has already reopened and Tomorrowland Terrace is set to reopen soon. Several other restaurants and hotels, however remain closed, so we’ll be on the lookout for more reopening information in the future. Stay tuned for all the latest updates!
