Guests staying at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa might run into a few changes soon.
Today, Disney announced that the Paddock Pool waterslide will close for refurbishment soon and the work will affect several nearby areas of the resort. This refurb comes shortly after work started to wrap up on the Keister Coaster slide at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. Let’s see what’s going down at Saratoga Springs!
According to Disney’s Saratoga Springs pools page, the closure of the Paddock Pool waterslide will begin this winter. Though Paddock Pool will remain open for the majority of the work, some other areas will close.
For instance, the bridge connecting The Paddock to other resort areas will also temporarily close. The announcement notes, “Guests can board the resort shuttle or follow posted signage for alternative routes around the lake while the bridge is under refurbishment.”
During this time, guests can also head to enjoy the other pools at Saratoga Springs: the High Rocks Spring feature pool and waterslide, as well as two leisure pools at the resort.
We’ll be checking in on this project regularly and will let you know when it kicks off, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest updates!
