2020 is about to get a whole lot better with the (soft) opening of Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs!

We’ve been anxiously awaiting the opening of this new store — watching construction, checking job postings, and speculating about a possible opening date. With delicious baked goods and fun offerings like hot cookie hour, you can’t really blame us for being this excited! With the news that Gideon’s Bakehouse would be offering holiday cookies THIS YEAR, we knew that an opening date or at least a soft opening date was coming soon, and now we know exactly when that exciting day will be!
Today, Gideon’s Bakehouse announced via their Instagram that they will enter “soft opening mode” on December 23rd at 10 AM. AND THE COOKIE GODS REJOICED!

Gideon’s has invited guests to come and refine their craft, get to know their ovens, “gain speed when making your Peanut Butter Cold Brew,” and get cozy in their “hauntingly new space.”

The “Official” Grand Opening will take place in the New Year, so we’ll be on the lookout for more details on that.
