With the glorious return of the Festival of the Arts at EPCOT this week, we checked in on a friend of ours to see if he had made his return as well.

Earlier this week, we shared that Donald Duck had mysteriously been replaced by a plant on a Disney World ride, and, as of today, Mr. Donald Plant is still standing in for the duck himself!

On what would have been the day that runners gathered at Walt Disney World to run a half marathon, Donald Duck is still missing (!!) from the stage of the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros at the Mexico Pavilion.

Last year, one of the bandmates took a week hiatus (HE was replaced by a pile of flowers sans sombrero!) and returned to strumming his guitar but we’ve never known Donald to let someone else take the lead for too long. And, he better return soon because Mr. Donald Plant still hasn’t picked up on the choreography!

We’re still not sure why Donald has gone missing from the ride and taken on plant-form, but we’re keeping an eye out for when he makes his return! Rest assured, Mr. Donald Plant is taking his temporary role seriously and we might even be sad to see this star go.
