Welcome back to another episode of…What’s New at Hollywood Studios!
We took a stroll around the glitz and glamour of the bustling young movie town this week. Here, we found new merchandise and had a VERY interesting experience with the Rise of the Resistance Boarding Group proccess.
Hollywood Studios Attraction Update
Guests must book a Boarding Group (virtual queue) in order to ride Rise of the Resistance. These groups are HARD to snag. Most of the time, the passes are gone within seconds. This week we experienced something very out of ordinary. We successfully booked a pass at 1PM yesterday and expected the groups to be booked by 1:01PM as usual. To our surprise, the queue didn’t fill up until almost 2 hours later!
This could have been total good luck or perhaps the increased ride capacity has helped a tad. We’ll keep tabs on the situation in the future!
Hollywood Studios Merchandise Update
Once Upon a Time
An exclusive Annual Passholder collection was released earlier that included Minnie Mouse Ears, a pin, and a baseball hat. The merchandise is available at select locations throughout Disney World. The only item we spotted in stock during our visit was the hat at Once Upon a Time and Mouse About Town.
We’ll keep an eye out for more Annual Passholder merch!
Mickey’s of Hollywood
Did you think we were done with pet merchandise? Oh no. There’s more to come! We found the new Reigning Cats and Dogs spatula set at Hollywood Studios this week. We first saw them in Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort and now they made it to the east coast.
You can pick up the spatula and cookie-cutter sets for $19.99 each.
Legends of Hollywood
Next up, we spotted a pretty in pastel Disney World pullover that we’re pretty enamored with.
Sport you love for WDW for $59.99!
We also spotted this ultra-cool Indiana Jones shirt! The tee shows icons from the movie like snakes (why’d it have to be snakes) and the Golden Idol. The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular is currently closed but you can still show off your fandom! The shirt is $36.99.
That’s all for Hollywood Studios today! We’ll be back for more food, merchandise updates, and fun real soon!
