We sure hope you’re ready to get WILD!
We popped into Disney World’s wildest park yesterday to make sure YOU are up to date on all the latest updates! So, here’s everything new in food and construction in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Before we dive into the news though, we wanted to show you a couple of the cool animal sightings we got to experience yesterday! Headed into the park, we spotted a Cast Member feeding our friend the tortoise.
This baby gorilla was going bananas on Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail. Look at that balance!
And he wasn’t the only one! We even spotted one of these primates climbing right on up a tree.
And here’s a little meerkat keeping watch for his family! Meerkats take shifts being the lookout for the group. Isn’t that cool?
Animal Kingdom Food Updates
Various Locations
Okay, now into those updates! The first thing we noticed was that most of the drink and snack kiosks still have that Green Mickey Jingle Bell Sipper from Christmastime.
Harambe Fruit Market
Over at Harambe Fruit Market, we spotted Simba Pretzels for sale!
Animal Kingdom Construction Updates
Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail
And there’s a little bit of construction going on at Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail. The path was blocked off right after the Meerkat viewing area. A Cast Member told us this is just a bit of routine maintenance.
To deal with the fact that folks have to come out the way they came in, there was a Cast Member counting the number of guests who had entered and exited the trail and directional arrows on the ground.
