What's New at Animal Kingdom: A BOOZY Drink Returns, Pandora Gets a Glow-Up, and MORE!

Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re back with more updates on what’s new at Animal Kingdom!

We found a returning snack (or two), a new Dooney & Bourke Collection, and more that may pique your interest! Or, maybe you just want to see what Animal Kingdom has been up to recently. Either way, here’s what we found crawling around Animal Kingdom this week!

Animal Kingdom Food Update

Zuri’s Sweet Shop

Zuri’s Sweet Shop is a great Animal Kingdom spot to get your sugar fix. When we swung by, we saw that Strawberry has returned to the boozy collection of Frozen Glaciers available for an afternoon pick-me-up!

For $13, you can choose between a Lemonade or Strawberry Frozen Glacier with your choice of vodka, rum, whiskey, or tequila.

Harambe Fruit Market

There was also a pretty ~sweet~ development over at Harambe Fruit Market. You can now find order a Churro (with chocolate sauce) from the market for $6.19.

Animal Kingdom Construction Update

Pandora — The World of Avatar

Over at Pandora — The World of Avatar, a few barriers have popped up as the ground gets a glow up (literally!). If you’ve ever been through the Valley of Mo’ara in the dark, you’ll know that the ground comes to life from the bioluminescent flora of Pandora.

This week, areas of the pathways were sectioned off to let recent powdered “paint” settle into the ground. Even looking over the barrier we noticed that the colors were popping a lot more with a fresh coat of paint!

Animal Kingdom Merchandise Update

Riverside Depot

Over at Riverside Depot, we noticed that the new Italy Dooney and Bourke Collection had made it’s way over to Animal Kingdom! The print isn’t brand new (we saw the print on the limited edition MagicBand some time ago) but the bags sure are!

The design is PACKED with detail — there’s Minnie riding a Vespa, gelato, tiramisu, the Colosseum and more Italian icons! You can find the tote for $268, the satchel for $198, and the handbag for $298.

And, on our walk around the shop, we spotted a new-to-us Rapunzel Tower Necklace. The necklace is from the Disney Parks Collection and has a charm of the tower with a message to inspire even the most home-bodied people to leave their tower!
