You might not worry too much about typical Disney villains ruining your Disney World trip. After all, the good guys tend to have the bad guys under control!

But, sometimes, there can be a SURPRISING foe that does manage to throw a wrench in your plans. We try not to let anything stand between us and a cocktail, which is why we might have a new arch-nemesis today. And it’s…bees?
We were just strolling through Disney Springs when we decided we should head on up to the Coca Cola Rooftop Bar for a nice and refreshing sip. This spot has awesome soda concoctions in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties.

But lo and behold, we didn’t make it! A Cast Member stopped us in the lobby to let us know that the Rooftop Bar is currently closed due to BEES. No, we are not kidding.

In fact, this isn’t even the first time this has happened to us! At last year’s EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, one booth was stuck closed due to BEES. Honey makers! What did we do to deserve this!? There weren’t any signs posted at the Coke store, but we did notice that the entire third floor is closed off.

The ramp was roped off and the elevator buttons were covered.

Well, we sure hope those bees are enjoying the delicious and sugary beverages that we were hoping to snag today! Cast Members told us that the bar will likely remain closed for the rest of the day.
