A new cake has arrived at Amorette’s Patisserie just in time for Valentine’s Day!
We love checking out all the Disney petit cakes that pass through here. Recently, we’ve spotted treats inspired by Tiana, Joe Gardner, Aladdin, and more. And now we have a cake based off of one of our favorite married couples!
The “Love is in the Air” petit cake is inspired by Up! It features a sweet heart-shaped picture of Carl and Ellie that’s being carried away by balloons. The cake is a sky blue and there’s even a grape soda pin.
The cake itself is chocolate and vanilla chiffon with peanut butter cream cheese mousse, strawberry mousse, strawberry jam, milk chocolate crisp pearls, and a chocolate liquor simple syrup.
This couple-themed cake is $20. It’s the latest in a string of Up merchandise and snack releases, but we’re not complaining! It’s certainly putting us in the mood for the 14th. We’ll keep you posted with more Disney news here at DFB, so stay tuned!

Sadly, this looks very unappealing. When I go to Amorette’s I’m looking for something I might find in a European bakery. The delicate, refined petit cakes of years past seem to have become unattractive, fondant-heavy souvenirs. I hope this is just a passing phase.
