We Found a MINI Spaceship Earth in EPCOT

Disney World has a new obsession — Trinket Trays!

We’ll admit that when we first saw one, though, we had NO idea what it was. But we still bought it because it was a cool Cinderella Castle and Main Street, U.S.A. thing, but then later noticed that it rang up as a “trinket tray.” And then we spotted a Tree of Life Trinket Tray, too!

Well, we just found a Spaceship Earth Trinket Tray! So, obviously, this trinket tray thing is sticking around for a while. We have to admit, these are pretty neat now that we know what they are.

This one has the World Showcase pavilions painted around its edges with Spaceship Earth in the center. Like the other trinket trays, this one is also a little poisonous (call the Evil Queen — she wants her trinket tray back!). But it’s totally okay — just follow the directions and don’t put food on it, and you’ll be fine…we think.

Seriously, though, these little trays are fun AND handy souvenirs — you can use them for your keys, spare change, or anything you might easily misplace. We’re guessing they’re good for jewelry, too — pretty much any kind of trinket you might have (that isn’t food) can go on there. We found the Spaceship Earth one at EPCOT’s Port of Entry for $17.99.
