Can you believe how fast the holidays are approaching?
Holiday decorations are already going up in the parks and we’re seeing tons of holiday merchandise drop. With the holidays comes lots of cooking for some people, and if you’re at a loss for what to make, not to worry. Here are 6 Disney recipes to make for the holiday season!
EPCOT’s Pretzel Bread Pudding
We’re starting out with an EPCOT favorite — the Pretzel Bread Pudding.
We absolutely love this treat. The caramel is the standout flavor, and it’s very dense and filling, but not at all in a bad way! We wanted a bit more of the white drizzle, and when you make it at home, you absolutely can.
It’s not as hard as it may seem to make, so whip it up and everyone at the table will be impressed.
Pumpkin Spice Sweet Potato Dole Whip
Is your mouth already watering? Ours is. Dole shared this Pumpkin Spice Sweet Potato Dole Whip recipe, and we think it just SCREAMS fall.
This is another very simple recipe — it only takes about 18 minutes to whip up! While it may sound like a strange combination of flavors, we think it works super well together and is 100% worth trying out.
Walt Disney’s Famous Chili
Why not have one of Walt’s favorite recipes on your table? Chili fans in your family will love this Walt’s Chili and Beans recipe.
This recipe will serve about 6-8 people, and is sure is loaded with lots of ingredients and spices. It’s a great savory addition to any holiday table!
Copycat Gingerbread Cookie Sandwich
Now, this is our homemade version of this recipe as no official one has been released by Disney, but we like to think these taste just as delicious as the original!
You can choose to make your own buttercream, or just use store-bought for this recipe, but the rest of it is pretty straightforward. Despite that, we think you’d make a lot of people VERY happy at the table with this delicious goodness.
Chocolate Peppermint Shake
If you’re a milkshake person, you’ve gotta try the Chocolate Peppermint Shake this holiday season.
This is a great, simple recipe with just enough peppermint to make it taste like the holidays but not be overpowering. If you’ve got peppermint fans, this is a great dessert recipe to make them while you sit in front of the roaring fireplace after your meal.
This last recipe takes a little more time to prepare, so you’ll want to allow a few hours to prepare these Gingerbread Beignets.
This recipe makes 24 beignets, and also involves deep frying, so be careful when working with hot oil! Gingerbread fans will love this treat, and it’ll really give you a holiday feel at the table.
