REVIEW: Disney World Puts A Unique Twist On A Classic Snack (and It's UNDER $5!)

Guess what? There’s a NEW snack at Disney World!

Now that’s something to get excited about. Yes, new snacks arrive ALL the time. But we get excited about all of them, especially when they’re delicious, like the new Pluto dessert at EPCOT, the Hot Cross Buns at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and the Mint Cookies and Cream Shake at Disney Springs. So yes, we’re excited about a brand new Bread Pudding that’s arrived at EPCOT.

This isn’t traditional bread pudding, though. It’s Pretzel Bread Pudding, and it’s made with what we think is leftover pretzels (like traditional bread pudding is made with leftover bread). It’s also topped with Caramel Butterscotch and a White Cream Sauce. Yes, it looks VERY appetizing. Yum!

Okay, first, we are super excited to have a unique snack that isn’t related to a festival. The main flavors with this snack are caramel and cinnamon plus a few other baking spices — but the caramel is really the standout flavor here.

Looks SO good

The white cream sauce tasted kind of like a crème anglaise — it’s very subtle. One thing that we would add to this dessert if we could is MORE of that sauce.

Why do we say it needs more sauce? Look at this! This is a VERY dense snack — you can even see the pieces of pretzels inside it.

We did ask for extra white sauce, but as it comes pre-prepared, that wasn’t an option.

However, the Pretzel Bread Pudding is still a tasty AND unique treat and we hope it sticks around. You can find it at Sommerfest in the Germany Pavilion for $4.79. Don’t forget that you can Mobile Order at this location!
