Is there anything better than a sweet treat inspired by your favorite Disney character? Hard to say.
We consider ourselves EXPERTS in the Disney treat arena so we were pretty pumped to see a new Fab Five-inspired dessert in EPCOT today. And it’s not Mickey who’s inspiring these unique and (Spoiler alert!) delicious flavors…it’s Pluto, his pup!
We were strolling through The Land Pavilion to check out the latest and see if there have been any updates. Sure enough, we spotted a NEW TREAT at Sunshine Seasons — the Pluto Petit Cake!
This treat is made with mango panna cotta layered with vanilla cake and lime and honey jelly. That might sound like a surprising mix of flavors but we were BIG fans.
Plus, it’s adorable. Look at the Pluto ears and bone decorations!
According to a Cast Member, the cake was made for a Disney Vacation Club event and it might not be sticking around but we hope it DOES. It’s so good! The yellow outer coating is the mango panna cotta; it’s super sweet and light. We found that the mango flavors tasted fresh and not syrupy at all.
Inside, there’s a white layer that we believe was where the lime flavor was coming from and that was layered on top of a THICK layer of honey jelly. The tartness from the lime and the sweetness from the honey really pools together for a balanced and tropical flavor profile.
Dog ears 🐶 and a bone 🦴 only mean one thing: a Pluto cake!

Warning: It does melt quickly with the jelly textures, but the good news is, Sunshine Seasons is indoors in the AC! If you’re a fan of tropical flavors, give this one a try!
You can try this treat for yourself at Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT for $6.29! We sure hope it sticks around! Keep an eye on DFB so you don’t miss ANY Disney World treat updates!
