Why don’t you join us while we POP into Disney’s Hollywood Studios? We’re making a stop at one of the Hot and Fresh Popcorn kiosks. You’ll find a few right in the area in front of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway…
We’re always on the lookout for new Refillable Popcorn Buckets at these little stands, but it’s pretty rare to spot a new snack among the usual options of popcorn, Mickey Pretzels, and cold drinks. So we were surprised to notice a sign for the new Springtime Popcorn!
Birthday Cake Popcorn is mixed with pastel “candied gems” (chocolates) and drizzled with white chocolate.
You’ll also spy some rainbow sprinkles in the bag for a little extra color. AND a little extra sugar. 😉
If you’re thinking that this treat looks a little familiar…
…that might be because it brings to mind the seasonal Holiday Festive Popcorn.
But while the Holiday Popcorn is a bit more of a sweet-and-salty mix with the addition of buttery caramel, the Springtime Popcorn is just straight up SWEET, especially due to the white chocolate.
Plus, it’s VERY sticky — easily stuck in teeth and the coating gets on hands.
For that reason, our personal preference lies with the trusty standby: good ol’ regular, buttery Disney popcorn! But the kiddos?
We think little ones will love this super sweet springtime snack! You can find it for $7.50 at the Hot and Fresh Popcorn Stands in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
