Big news for Disney’s Aulani Resort!
Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa has been welcoming guests back to Oahu with exclusive travel perks, sweet savings, and NEW character meet and greets! But if we needed ANOTHER reason to want to chill on a beach in Hawaii, some entertainment is returning, too.
KA WA’A, a Lu’au, is returning on March 27th, 2021! This nighttime event is part dinner, part show, and it emphasizes Hawaiian history and culture. Think along the lines of the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at Disney’s Polynesian Resort!
Guests will meet out on the lawn to participate in family activities like flower arranging and poi pounding. Then, they’ll sit down to a three-course meal with island favorites like ahi poke, lomilomi salmon salad, and imu-style braised pork. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will also be included in the event price!
Throughout the evening, there will be live music and traditional Hawaiian dance. And after dinner, guests can learn more about Hawaiian history and its roots in canoe exploration. That sounds like a night chock-full of entertainment AND fun!
The lu’au will begin at 5PM three nights a week, and will be modified due to health and safety precautions. Disney recommends reserving your spot as soon as possible, since capacity will be limited due to social distancing. We’ll keep you posted as March 27th gets closer, so stay tuned to DFB!
