St. Patrick’s Day has hit Disney World full force today!
So far, we’ve tried a sweet and sour cocktail, a drink that looks more like Christmas, and more, but now we’ve got yet ANOTHER green cocktail to try!
Today, we headed over to Petals Pool Bar at Disney’s Pop Century Resort where we found some St. Patrick’s Day Specials! The offerings include two cocktails called Pop O’ the Morning and Dublin Your Luck as well as Green Draft Beers and Guinness Irish Stout.
We decided to try the Pop O’ the Morning cocktail to get in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit! It’s made with Jameson, Midori, and Lemonade and topped with a lucky garnish. We were certainly intrigued by the lucky garnish on the description!
We thought the drink was really good! We love Jameson in St. Patrick’s Day drinks at Disney World, so we think they made a good choice creating a cocktail with that as an ingredient. Turns out that the special topping was shamrock sprinkles, which we thought was kind of odd for the drink. However, it did match aesthetically!
The sweet Cast Member who made the drink told us that these were supposed to be the specials for last year but they were never released due to the park closures. We’re glad we got to try one of these drinks after all of this time! If you’re a fan of tart drinks, you’ll probably enjoy this drink. Sweet drinkers, you might want to pass on this one!
You can pick up this drink for yourself for $14 at the Petals Pool Bar on your next visit to Pop Century! We’ll continue making our way around Disney World and trying out all of the new St. Patrick’s Day treats and drinks. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney food reviews!
