We’ve gotten some unique soft serve and DOLE whip creations at Pineapple Lanai in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
We got a WHOLE pineapple filled with DOLE whip, we got a DOLE whip combo we never knew we needed, and one with POPPING CANDY! And now we’ve found another limited time beauty and SPOILER ALERT: it. is. fantastic.
Introducing the shimmering, shiny, beautiful Easter Marshmallow Soft Serve! This treat is made with pink marshmallow soft serve ice cream, topped with Easter sprinkles, and we got ours with glitter too. Edible glitter, it’s a thing we (and Instagram) know and love.
Just what is included in those Easter sprinkles? Well, tiny little eggs, bunnies, chicks, & ducks of course!!
Okay, okay, so it is WORTHY to go on your Instagram — we’re talking stories, a post, both, it could be ALL over. Your friends will be SO jealous. So, it’s cute — we get it. But, does it taste good?! Ummmmmm…YES!
Our reporter who had this treat feared it would be sickly sweet. And considering it is made of marshmallow soft serve, we think that was a perfectly rational fear. BUT thankfully, there was nothing to be afraid of here! Our reporter said that the treat was SO GOOD!
Instead of being sickly sweet, it was much more creamy. They felt like it was more cream-based, similar to like a vanilla or coconut soft serve, not a DOLE whip. The marshmallow taste was nice — kind-of like Marshmallow Fluff but in soft-serve form. It did not have that Peeps-type marshmallow taste, so no need to worry about that.
Overall, our reporter said they would totally get this treat again!! If you’re NOT a marshmallow fan or you really hate pink and glitter (you could eat this with your eyes closed though, just a thought), this might not be a good choice for you. But, you could just opt for one of the other delicious options at this spot instead.
If you do want to try this LIMITED TIME Easter treat though, be sure to head to Pineapple Lanai ASAP and order this beauty for $4.99.Â
