EPCOT’s been undergoing LOTS of construction lately!

We’ve seen big changes as the park undergoes its transformation: there are new rides, restaurants, and even a fireworks show on the way! And we’re getting excited. But some changes are happening to EPCOT’s shops, too! We’ve told ya that a brand-new flagship store is on the way…and now, another store is closing temporarily.
Although it was due to close on April 19th, Pin Traders was still open yesterday. But on our trip to EPCOT today, we noticed an entire row of hedges blocking our way into the store from underneath Spaceship Earth. Safe to say, it’s definitely closed now!

A construction wall on the other side blocks access to the store, too. In the meantime, you’ll be able to shop for pins at Gateway Gifts or visit the Stroller Rentals for PhotoPass assistance. Both are also near the park entrance!

Currently, Pin Traders is showing hours on Disney World’s website starting on May 7th. So we should see it reopen then! Now, Disney hasn’t announced why the store is closing, or what work will be done. It may or may not be related to EPCOT’s transformation! But we’ll be sure to keep you posted as we learn more.
