Over the last few months, a number of restaurants and hotels at Disney World have reopened. We’ve also seen changes made to some restaurants and other spots.
Over at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Chef Mickey’s reopened a number of months ago, initially without any characters. Then, characters returned to this spot. For the time being, Chef Mickey’s has only been open for breakfast. But soon that will be changing!!
Today, Disney announced that Chef Mickey’s will soon be reintroducing an all-you-care-to-enjoy DINNER option, and the Fab Five will be there!
Starting May 16th, Chef Mickey’s will begin offering an all-you-care-to-enjoy family-style dinner. Just like at breakfast, Mickey and friends will make some appearances during the dinner, greeting families from a bit of a distance and taking socially distanced selfies.
Similar to other character dining spots, guests will also be able to take home a souvenir with character signatures and some colorful artwork.
What will be on the menu? Disney has shared that the menu will include a number of starters such as the “‘Chef Mickey’s Caesar,’ citrus-poached shrimp salad, and assorted breads.”
For main courses, so far Disney has noted that “gnocchi, roasted garlic potato Gratin, plant-based faro wheat fried rice, prime rib, roasted turkey, and salmon” will be available.
There will also be an “assortment of sweets to top off the meal.”
When it comes to kids, there will be a menu for little ones including “mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, turkey corn dog nuggets, and more!”
Reservations for dinner at Chef Mickey’s will become available on May 7th, so be sure to mark those calendars!
We’ll keep an eye out for more information, full menu details, and more, and we’ll let you know what we find!
