Disney World is continuing with its phased reopening!
While shows, restaurants, and rides slowly reopen, we’re keeping an eye out for any more changes around the parks. And today, Disney announced some BIG news about your dining options! Some fan-favorite restaurants are finally reopening, and we’ve got to share the good news.
This summer, Tusker House Restaurant is reopening in Disney’s Animal Kingdom! This character dining spot has remained closed since the parks reopened last July, and we can’t wait to welcome it back.
Best of all, the restaurant will reopen with a modified character experience! We’ll get to see Donald and friends decked out in their “safari best,” with safety practices similar to other modified character meals around the parks.
The meal itself will be family-style — we’re thinking the set-up will be similar to what is currently the case at Chef Mickey’s. Disney hasn’t announced a menu or actual reopening date, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as they do!
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the parks, and we are SO excited to eat here again. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news!
