There’s nothing quite like heading for Magic Kingdom in the morning.
When you arrive at the Transportation and Ticket Center, you’re just one step away from walking up to the gates of the Magic Kingdom. Now,  we spotted a difference in the modes of transportation currently being offered from the TTC to Magic Kingdom — and you’re gonna want to hear it.
As of writing, the buses that run from the TTC to Magic Kingdom in the morning are no longer running every day! We spotted that the bus stop was empty both yesterday and today.
Previously, you could option between the ferryboat, the monorail, and the bus to head to Magic Kingdom in the AM. Buses tend to be the best option if you’re looking for a short wait! You could typically easily catch a bus to Magic Kingdom (not back) prior to 10:45AM with a MUCH shorter wait than the other two options.Â
Now though, Cast Members explained that the buses won’t be running every day due to low demand. They will mainly still run on weekends and busier days, but it’s up to the discretion of the Bus Transportation Cast Members.
So, it seems too few folks were taking advantage of this option and instead opting for the boat or monorail! This isn’t too surprising since we’ve even seen several buses lined up and waiting for people at the TTC.
Still, since the bus option will still be running on select days, we suggest asking a Cast Member. You never know, they may be offered the day that you are looking to hop on a bus from the TTC to Magic Kingdom. As always, stay tuned to DFB for the latest Disney updates!

The buses are not going to run all the time to save money . Disney is not sending out buses with no one riding the bus . They cut back on everything they are not making millions of dollars any more on the park and or resorts . The best bet is the monorail runs all the time.

More complicated??? If folks were not using and the busses are empty it may be status quo and not more complicated until capacity limits are increased.

Speaking of complicated transportation. We have been staying at Pop Century for the week. Found that Pop guests must use the Skyliner to get to Epcot and DHS. No buses. We can walk to Art of Animation and take their bus. When I said to a cast member that this seemed like Pop guests were being treated like step children, I was told not enough buses. Okay but why can’t the AOA bus stop at Pop. I’ve stayed at hotels where buses were shared during off seasons but the bus stopped at all the hotels. Seems wrong to me. I don’t like changing planes much less changing sky liners just to get from my hotel to a park. Disney is off base with this one. Will never stay at a resort on the skyliner again.

I’m gonna be completely honest here…
I’ve been visiting WDW for nearly 40 years and I never Even knew that bus transportation from the TTC was even an option.

I didn’t know there was a bus from the TTC to MK! I’ve been going to Disney forever & never saw signs for it, heard about or saw articles on any Disney sites about it. I could have saved myself a lot of exhaustion going up the monorail ramp with my arthritic feet!

The buses are in front of any park they are in a designated area . If you walking out of the park you will see buses line up . The buses takes you longer time then the monorail or the boat . If you are at a resort they are in the bus area there is board that tells you when it will arrive . TTC is for the transportation of what you needed to take to your next park or go back to the resort .
