Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park have reopened and so have many of the attractions and restaurants there.
But, some locations in the parks and resort area are still closed. Disney had previously announced that the beautiful Blue Bayou Restaurant would soon be reopening (and would serve alcohol), but hadn’t shared an official reopening date. Now we’ve got an update!!
Earlier today, Disney shared that Blue Bayou Restaurant in Disneyland Park will be opening May 27th!
Reservations will become available on May 18th, so mark those calendars!
Blue Bayou is located INSIDE of part of Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean ride and overlooks the ride’s boats and their guests as they float by. When it reopens, it is set to offer a whole bunch of new beverage options for guests to enjoy including a series of alcoholic beverages.
New seasonal takes on the Mint Julep non-alcoholic drink are also set to come to Disneyland soon.
If you’re hoping to eat at this Disneyland spot, be sure to mark your calendars so you can try to make those reservations quickly! We’ll keep an eye out for more Disneyland news and let you know what we find.

So excited for Blue Bayou to open! It’s my absolute favorite Disneyland restaurant. I’ve got a park hopper ticket for mid June with a park reservation starting in DCA. Will I have an issue getting a reservation for 2pm for Blue Bayou since technically my park reservation says DCA not Disneyland? The Disneyland app says you need to have a ticket and park reservation for the matching park to make a reservation. Also, do we know what time on May 18th the reservations will open?
Emily, I chatted with our Disneyland reporter, and she says you shouldn’t have trouble making the Blue Bayou reservation because you’re not required to confirm your Park Pass reservation when you make the ADR. As for what time the ADRs will be released: she thinks it’ll be 6AM PST.
It is my sons dream to eat at this restaurant i’ve been checking it and I am too late if anybody has any tips on how to get a reservation alert I’m trying to get a table for June 15 please help
I’ve been trying to get a reservation for the Blue Bayou and I am in my 60 day reservation window, however it says that “there are no schedules for the date selected”. Do you know why that would be? Thanks!
