A number of changes to the health and safety procedures have been implemented in Disney World this weekend.
As of today, temperature checks are no longer required for entry to the parks, and face masks aren’t required in outdoor areas. And we noticed some changes to certain attractions as well!
When the parks reopened, many attractions had plexiglass added to their ride vehicles as a health and safety measure. One of the rides that received a plexiglass update was Tower of Terror in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
We dropped into the Hollywood Tower Hotel today to check for any changes and we noticed that the plexiglass has now been removed from the ride vehicles. According to the Cast Member we spoke with, the plexiglass was taken out yesterday.
While the plexiglass has been removed from the ride itself, there are currently still plexiglass dividers in the queue for the attraction.
We’ll continue to keep an eye out for other changes to the health and safety measures around the parks so stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for all the latest info!

Why was there plexi glass there in the first place to make everyone feel safe . The virus is air borne it would go right over it . Remove it to make space for more riders to make it feel safe it is really safe .

Are they filling all the seats? This has caused the long wait times.

Thank goodness! The plastic barriers also need to be removed on Living with the Land. You can’t see anything if you’re not sitting on the front row.
