We’ve been keeping a close eye on the construction over at Magic Kingdom!
With Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary quickly approaching, quite a few areas around property have been getting a little spiffying up. One of those is Main Street Confectionery! This spot is closed in March for a pretty lengthy refurb, and we’ve been watching the progress from afar. And today, we noticed a BIG change!
Construction walls are now up around the Confectionery! As a reminder, before, the building was just shuttered, with no obvious indication that anything was happening inside.
But now, we’ve got WALLS!
You’ll definitely notice these as you head down Main Street, U.S.A. And while we’ve still got those classic window displays, signs of construction are now unavoidable.
Disney hasn’t announced when the Confectionery is due to reopen, but we’ll keep you posted as we hear more! For now, you can get your sugar fix at Main Street Cinema, just a few steps away. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news!
